Job Title: Manager, Field Platform - Backend Engineering

Wage Range: $155,167.00 - $161,580.00
Bristol-Myers Squibb Company is hiring a(n) Manager, Field Platform - Backend Engineering (in Lawrenceville, NJ).
Duties: Work with offshore and onshore teams the design, build, and assemble technology components. Prototype new functionalities and strategize growth plans with leadership for final implementation. Lead development streams and review deployment plans in line with overall program timelines and milestones. Build and leverage reusable code and libraries for global harmonization. Lead architecture testing and application deployment for a variety of business requirements. Parter with integration and testing teams to ensure applications are fully integrated and functional from end-to-end. Lead reviews, tracking, and fixing of defects or performance problems discovered from testing. Analyze existing processes to make improvement recommendations. Connect with peers across global delivery centers to ensure all deliverables are aligned to the final delivery goals. Document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), solutions, and guidelines for local and global teams. Ensure vendor engagements are in line with Service Level Agreements and other business requirements. Evaluate the impacts associated with change requests. Provide technical expertise, guidance, and coaching to a technical team. Telecommuting permitted up to 3 days per week.
Requirements: Employer will accept a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Applied Computer Science, or a related field, and three (3) years of experience in related work experience.
Must have three (3) years of experience in the following skills (which may be gained concurrently):
• Building ETL/ESB integrations using AWS AppFlow, AWS Glue, MuleSoft, Informatica, or Veeva Vault Cloud
• Administrating databases including Oracle, Redshift, Neptune, and PostgreSQL
• Scripting using programming languages including Redhat Linux Shell Script, and Python
• Application Programming Interface (API) hosting and consumption
• Using the Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI/CD) processes and Agile methodologies in the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
• Must also include one (1) year in Generative Artificial Intelligence prompt engineering and vectorization.
