Manages, plans, and organizes the staff and activities of facilities maintenance. Ensures contracts and service agreements meet facility standards and needs. Oversees equipment and facilities maintenance and repair.
Job Responsibility
- Provides leadership to Facilities Management team members and supervisors by communicating and guiding toward achieving department objectives.
- Develops, communicates, and builds consensus for goals in alignment with the health system.
- Selects, develops, manages, and evaluates direct reports; oversees the selection, development, management, and evaluation of indirect reports.
- Manages the maintenance and repair schedules for equipment and facilities.
- Ensures contracts and service agreements meet facility standards and needs.
- Builds, and maintains productive inter/intra departmental and vendor work relationships to optimize operations.
- Recommends, implements, and adheres to approved operating goals, objectives, and budget.
- Reports operation performance, justification, and corrective action.
- Ensures compliance with the federal, state and local regulatory bodies are in force.

Job Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- 6-8 years of relevant experience and 2-5 years of leadership / management experience, required.
- HVAC experience, preferred.
- Chiller plant, license, preferred.
- Maritime experience, preferred.
