Full Job Description
Position Summary:

The Manager, Facilities Engineering is responsible for overseeing the daily operation, maintenance, and repair of building systems at loanDepot park. This role ensures the stadium's mechanical, HVAC, electrical, and building automation systems operate efficiently and reliably to support Major League Baseball games, concerts, and year-round events.

Working closely with the Director of Facilities & Engineering, the Manager supervises facilities technicians, coordinates preventative maintenance programs, manages vendors, and ensures all building systems remain operational and event-ready. The role requires strong experience with large central plant HVAC systems, mechanical equipment, and Building Automation Systems (BAS) in complex, high-occupancy facilities.

Job Duties:
• Oversee the daily operation and maintenance of all building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, BAS controls, and fire/life safety systems;
• Ensure building systems operate efficiently and reliably to support stadium operations and events;
• Assist in the management and maintenance of stadium HVAC systems including chillers, air handling units, cooling towers, pumps, and controls;
• Support preventative and predictive maintenance programs to maximize system reliability;
• Supervise and lead Ballpark Facilities Team - Assign work orders, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks;
• Provide training and support to facilities staff on building systems and maintenance procedures;
• Promote safe work practices and adherence to company policies;
• Manage contract personnel and vendors (general contractors, subcontractors, inspectors, etc.);
• Respond to facility-related issues during events and assist with emergency response as needed, including after-hours and weekend incidents;
• Support the development and execution of short- and long-term facilities plans, including capital improvement projects and renovations;
• Participate in procurement processes, bids, and proposals; ensure timely and satisfactory completion of facilities projects and work assignments;
• Foster strong communication with executives, project teams, contractors, government officials, and stakeholders;
• Promote superior customer service and operational excellence across all facility activities.

Qualifications & Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience);
• 5-7 years of experience in facilities management, building operations, or related field;
• Bilingual in English and Spanish;
• Experience working in large-scale commercial buildings, stadiums, airports, hospitals, or entertainment venues preferred;
• Hands-on experience with HVAC systems and building automation systems (BAS), Electrical and plumbing systems, Fire/life safety systems, CMMS / work order systems;
• Experience with maintenance best practices, compliance standards, and vendor management;
• Experience managing budgets and contracts;
• Ability to troubleshoot building system issues and coordinate repairs;
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage teams;
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities;
• Strong communication skills: must be comfortable with engaging in a variety of different communicative modes (verbal, non-verbal, and written) and be attuned to others through strong active listening skills;
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals;
• Must possess a strong ability to manage one's own time and prioritize tasks when given clearly defined goals and objectives;
• Proven ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks & projects;
• Must be a flexible and reliable team player, both within own department and within company as a whole;
• Ability to identify problems, their sources, and their potential solutions while continuing to successfully conduct day-to-day operations without interruption;
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, HVAC and work order system software.
