Working in partnership with Business Unit leaders, Finance and Functional teams, we bring together capital investment plans spanning Facilities, Manufacturing Equipment, IT, Automation, Laboratory Equipment & Strategic initiatives into a single enterprise capital portfolio.

Rather than owning individual business strategies, our role is to provide the enterprise-wide planning, analytics, processes and insights that enable informed investment decisions and ensure capital is allocated to the opportunities that best support Dexcom's long-term objectives. Reporting to the Director, Enterprise Capex, this role will help shape how capital is planned, analyzed and communicated across the organization.

  • Coordinate the annual Enterprise Capital Planning process by partnering with Business Unit leaders, Finance and Functional teams to consolidate capital plans into a single, enterprise-wide portfolio
  • Develop and continuously improve the tools, templates, processes and training that support a consistent approach to enterprise capital planning, budgeting & approvals across the organization
  • Consolidate investment requests across all capital categories, identifying overlaps, dependencies, resource constraints and opportunities to optimize the enterprise capital portfolio
  • Develop advanced portfolio models and scenario analyses to evaluate alternative investment strategies, funding constraints and business priorities, supporting data-driven decision making.
  • Produce executive-quality portfolio reporting, dashboards and insights that clearly communicate portfolio performance, emerging trends, investment risks and optimization opportunities.
  • Partner with Finance to develop and maintain a single enterprise capital dataset covering budgets, forecasts, actual spend, commitments and transfers across all capital investment categories.
  • Leverage AI, automation and advanced analytical tools to improve forecasting, reporting, portfolio analysis and decision support while reducing manual effort.

What makes you successful:
  • Exceptional analytical capability with the ability to synthesize large and complex datasets into clear recommendations for senior leadership.
  • Advanced financial modelling and scenario planning skills, with extensive experience developing sophisticated portfolio models and investment analyses.
  • Highly proficient in Excel, Power BI and modern analytical platforms, with a passion for using AI and automation tools to improve productivity, generate insights and support better business decisions.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to understand how capital investment supports business strategy, operational performance and long-term value creation.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders, competing priorities and large enterprise portfolios.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with experience preparing concise, executive-level materials for senior leadership.
  • Experience working within capital-intensive environments such as manufacturing, life sciences, medical devices or pharmaceuticals.
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to build trusted relationships across diverse global teams and functions.

What you'll get:
  • A front row seat to life changing CGM technology. Learn about our brave #dexcomwarriors community.
  • A full and comprehensive benefits program.
  • Growth opportunities on a global scale.
