Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, facilities management, or related field plus 8 years of facilities maintenance experience including 5 years in a supervisory role.
• Consideration of equivalent education, training, and experience if not holding a degree.
• Strong knowledge of building trade operations and automated systems, including HVAC and emergency generators.
• Proficient in computer software applications, data management, and KPI report interpretation.
• Experience in budget development and cost estimation.
• Ability to read blueprints accurately and effectively.
• Possession of a valid Georgia driver's license and a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operation and maintenance of assigned zones under management.
• Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and university guidelines.
• Develop and manage maintenance and operations programs for the facilities.
• Implement operational strategies using in-house trades and contracted services.
• Oversee maintenance work and contribute to planning for campus growth and capital renewal.
• Collaborate with various departments for additional support when necessary.
• Engage with clients to ensure facility alterations and construction align with university plans.
• Assist in planning for emergency response regarding critical weather events.
• Administer and monitor budgets associated with facilities management activities.
• Conduct stakeholder meetings to assess and ensure service level performance.
