About The Role:

ARC is looking for a talented Manager, External Communications to join our team! In this role, you will develop, coordinate and execute overarching content and media strategies to strengthen the ARC brand. You will create awareness and demand for ARC’s solutions among target audiences. These strategies must align with ARC’s corporate strategy and create a lasting positive impression among customers, partners and media. The Manager, External Communications will develop and deliver social media, media and marketing plans for both new and established solutions to achieve brand and revenue objectives. You'll lead the development and execution of ARC’s content strategy, telling ARC’s story through marketing and communications channels. You will also lead a team of skilled communications experts and ensure alignment of activities. You'll establish goals and expectations and evaluate performance using data, qualitative assessments, and feedback. And, you will work collaboratively with internal business leaders and cross-functional groups, make decisions, maintain confidentiality, multitask, and prioritize in a high-volume environment.

What You'll Get to Do:
  • Develop strategic marketing plans and KPIs for the ARC brand and solutions portfolios. Lead the execution of these plans through content and promotional opportunities in partnership with the broader brand and marketing team, business stakeholders, customer engagement, and other leaders.
  • Plan, develop and deliver content across a range of brand and marketing channels using a shared calendar. Communications include web-based communications, social media, email, paid and/or earned media, and conference topics.
  • Monitor, track and analyze the cost, quality and effectiveness of marketing activities. Present status updates on strategic marketing campaigns and programs to key stakeholders throughout the company. Lead efforts to track brand health and marketing positioning of competitors.
  • Create and/or edit content with an eye for detail and make recommendations for strategic accuracy. Craft executive talking points, communications and other content as needed. Support review of content that includes emails, social media, presentations, webpages and video scripts. Support ARC customer engagement.
  • Build and maintain close relationships with internal stakeholders, members of the media and ARC partners to further business goals.
  • Supervise, mentor and develop direct reports and extended team members; provide direction, leadership and coaching to project teams to execute brand and product marketing plans.
  • You'll Bring These Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree in communications, English, journalism, marketing, business or related field required; equivalent experience considered
    • 6+ years of experience in strategic marketing; ideally some experience in the airline industry
    • Knowledge of branding and marketing principles
    • Experience directly leading individuals and teams
    • Customer-focused with commitment to quality
    • Outstanding communication, leadership and conflict-resolution skills
