Manager, Express Mortgages Salary RangePosition Summary The Express Mortgage Manager oversees the Express Mortgage Origination and Outside Mortgage Representative functions for the Credit Union. Oversees activities with the Assistant Manager of Express Mortgages who coordinates with the Express Mortgage Originators to ensure production goals, service level expectations, and regulatory compliance requirements are met. Coordinates with the Outside Sales Representatives to ensure meeting targeted visits and communication with partners, remaining within budget and following regulations.
Manager, Express Services Duties and Responsibilities- Manages the tactical operations of the Express Mortgages area functions by collaborating with the Vice President of Consumer Sales to set goals, strategies and action plans that create a competitive advantage and align with the organization's mission and long-term vision.
- Manages the daily operations of the Outside Mortgage Representatives including budget, marketing request, service delivery, lead management, resource capacity and compliance.
- Responsible for meeting production, quality and service level goals for the Express Mortgages operations.
- Provides regular reporting, updates and analysis on key performance indicators such as service level, lead conversion, pull-through, production, and member survey ratings.
- Manages all human resource related activities for direct reports including; maintaining accurate job descriptions, recruiting, hiring, training, employee development and performance evaluation.
- Provides recommendations and assists with the development, implementation, management and evaluation of mortgage products.
- Implements tactics to build partnerships with real estate agents and home builders throughout the entire Credit Union footprint.
- Evaluates processes, procedures and systems for compliance, efficiency and effectiveness. Recommends and implements process, procedure and system changes as needed.
- Manages pipeline to ensure the efficient flow of loans in process, identifies bottlenecks and/or potential service escalations and aides in consistently meeting expected service levels.
- Remains current in all aspects of mortgage lending trends and compliance. Additional training and certifications will be completed as required.
- Maintains knowledge of policies and procedures to ensure they are accurately documented and disseminated to appropriate Credit Union staff.
- Assists in the preparation of annual budget for department.
- Assists with internal/external audits, response to findings and recommending appropriate changes to processes and procedures after cost/benefit analysis.
- Serves as an escalation point and resolves complex member problems by obtaining information, researching records, following up on details, and reporting the results to the inquiring party in order to develop and sustain member loyalty.
Manager, Express Mortgages Minimum Requirements- 5-8 years of mortgage experience is required and 2 years of management or leadership experience is required.
- Bachelor degree in related field or equivalent experience required. Mortgage designation may be considered towards the education requirement.
- Must have the ability to obtain NMLS licensing/registration within the first eight weeks of employment. The NMLS license/registration is required for this position.
Hours- Must be available Monday - Friday 8:00am - 7:00pm.
