Job Description

Responsible for directing and administering the Environmental Services program to maintain the hospital environment in a sanitary, attractive and orderly condition. Establishes standards and work procedures for the Environmental staff in accordance with the established policies of the Medical Center. Conducts research to improve the technology of the department. Ensure compliance of required standards as set by regulatory agencies. Sets expectations and monitors compliance for enhancing customer satisfaction. Oversees Environmental Service operations at SJRMC, SJWH, and SVNH.

Qualifications

Work requires the knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or closely related field, and five to seven years of work related experience. Work requires analytical ability to collect information from diverse sources and apply professional principles in performing various analyses, and summarize the information and data in order to solve problems.
