Job Requirements

Job Responsibilities:
  • Own the performance, stability, support, and roadmap of assigned ERP applications.
  • Provide day-to-day oversight of the Managed Services provider and specialized ERP vendors.
  • Monitor SLAs, service quality, incidents, problems, enhancements, and project delivery.
  • Hold vendors accountable for responsiveness, technical quality, estimates, timelines, and issue resolution.
  • Maintain strong functional understanding of Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Inventory, Procurement, Order Management, Shipping, and related processes.
  • Maintain strong technical understanding of ERP architecture and legacy application environments.
  • Understand IBM i / AS400 concepts, RPG applications, DB2, batch processing, interfaces, jobs, data structures, and system dependencies.
  • Lead or support resolution of business-critical application and plant issues.
  • Ensure recurring issues receive appropriate root-cause analysis and permanent corrective action.
  • Review technical solutions and challenge vendor recommendations when needed.
  • Work with plant and business teams to identify whether issues are related to process, application, data, integration, or infrastructure.
  • Lead application participation in projects, upgrades, migrations, integrations, and enhancements.
  • Coordinate with Infrastructure, Security, Data & Analytics, Integration, and Enterprise Architecture teams.
  • Manage technical debt and operational risk associated with legacy applications.
  • Support future migration and retirement of legacy ERP platforms as part of the ERP consolidation strategy.
  • Ensure system knowledge is documented and retained internally.

Education:
