Full Job Description
POSITION PURPOSE AND SUMMARY

Under the supervision of the Director of Engineering and Facility Operations, Powers Health, the Engineering Regulatory & Quality Compliance Manager, supports the design, monitoring, analysis and improvement of environment of care across the System. Ensures compliance with all applicable Joint Commission, Indiana State Department of Health, Indiana Department of Environmental Management, Environmental Protection Agency, and any other regulatory agency standards which involves the Department of Engineering, across the System. Works to maintain a favorable accreditation and licensure. Directly manages the Engineering Regulatory Compliance Coordinators at SMMC's, SCH, PHRC and supervises their work activities and also provides work direction to the Engineering staff at Hartsfield Village related to regulatory compliance.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare or Engineering related field
  • ASHE Membership required, CHFM preferred
  • Minimum of 20 significant (TJC, ISDH, EPA, IDEM) Regulatory Agency Surveys
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in Healthcare
  • Incident Command Center (HICS) Training Required
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills required
  • Must be personable, able to work in a professional atmosphere and have a cooperative attitude.
