Job Description

NBCUniversal is looking for a Manager of Episodic Operations to join our StudioPost team in Universal City, California! In this role, you will be responsible for managing client relationships and delivering a high-quality customer experience across post-production services. You will focus on account management, service coordination, and revenue support by partnering with internal teams to meet production needs.

You will serve as a primary point of contact for clients, ensuring services are delivered efficiently while identifying opportunities to grow business with both new and existing customers. This role emphasizes operational coordination, customer satisfaction, and business development.

What You'll Do:

Client & Account Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external production clients
  • Serve as the primary contact for client inquiries, issue resolution, and service coordination
  • Manage expectations and ensure a seamless customer experience throughout the production lifecycle
  • Identify opportunities to expand services and increase client engagement

Business Development & Revenue Support
  • Prepare client proposals, quotes, and service packages aligned with production needs
  • Support revenue tracking, forecasting, and reporting activities
  • Partner with sales leadership to position bundled service offerings across StudioPost

Service Coordination & Operations
  • Coordinate delivery of services including dailies, editorial, and finishing support
  • Partner closely with operations and production teams to ensure timely execution of services
  • Align internal resources to meet customer timelines and project requirements
  • Monitor service performance and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction

Dailies & Production Services Oversight
  • Represent StudioPost dailies services for on-set and facility-based productions
  • Coordinate support for:
    • On-set dailies (global productions)
    • Facility-based dailies services
    • Data handling and production workflows
    • Archival and content management services

Virtual Production & Emerging Services
  • Support promotion and client adoption of Virtual Production (VP) offerings
  • Partner with internal teams to position services such as:
    • Streaming to stages
    • Dailies from set
    • Content and shot library organization
  • Gather client feedback and market insights to inform future service offerings

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with operations, production, editorial, and creative teams to deliver services
  • Coordinate with sales teams to develop bundled service offerings
  • Ensure alignment across stakeholders to improve the overall client experience

What You Must Have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Film/TV production, operations, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in post-production, client services, or account management

  • MS Office, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Visio, ScheduALL and other related systems and applications
  • Solid understanding of post-production workflows and production processes
  • Calm and solutions-oriented approach to managing client issues
  • Experience managing relationships with Studio Executives, Post Supervisors, Producers, and other stakeholders
  • Strong organizational and operational coordination skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to influence without direct authority and collaborate across teams
  • Strong presentation and executive communication skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Additional Requirements:
  • Required On-Site: This position is required to be performed full-time from an NBCUniversal-designated worksite.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and travel as needed

This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
