Full Job Description
What will I bedoing?
  • Lead and manage a team that is charged with providing operational and strategic oversight of Early Child Care Vendors Contract performance. Develop and implement effective comprehensive programmatic strategies to ensure all child care programs and services comply with applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines, including those set forth by the Texas Workforce Commission.
  • Oversee the administration of the TWC's early child care financial and assistance programs policies and procedures including management of the contracting and budgeting process, in the HGAC region.
  • Provide technical assistance, training and expertise in financial assistance and early care quality policies and procedures and family engagement practices.
  • Oversee and manage the collection and review financial assistance caseload related data; and coordinate data collection, analysis and data sharing findings and outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain materials and communication methods to ensure families and child care providers have accessible, accurate and timely information on TWC financial assistance and early child care programs and resource
  • Update, and enforce policies and procedures related to the TWC Early Child Care Scholarships Program and family engagement practices. Stay abreast of changes in relevant laws, regulations, and best practices to ensure organizational compliance and effectiveness.
  • Develop and implement provider meetings and other required outreach and engagement activities.
  • Ensure programs and services are delivered in accordance with Workforce Board's directive and complaint with all federal, state and local laws and regulations
  • Develop action plans to streamline processes and achieve expected outcomes in a timely manner.


KeyQualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Government, Buisness, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in TWC early child care subsity, TWC early child care quality, or related roles.
  • Exceptional leadership and project management skills.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing, social media management, and content creation.
  • Exceptional understanding of workforce development.
  • Aptitude for collaborative teamwork within a diverse and dynamic environment.


Do you have...
  • Bachelor's degree in an applicable academic discipline orrelatedfield of study
  • 5years of experienceworking with local government, nonprofit programs, schools, or in job-related duties


Salary Range: $105,000.00 - $115,000.00
