THE POSITION:The Manager, Network Design and Implementation will work closely with members of the design, construction, IT and operations teams to deliver a state-of-the-art facility that meets STACK's operational, reliability, and efficiency standards. This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of a high-impact project from preconstruction through delivery.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Project Planning and Coordination: Develop and manage project schedules, coordinating with architects, engineers, and contractors to integrate telecommunications and trade systems, ensuring compliance with STACK and tenant standards across the entire campus.
- Trade Coordination and Management: Act as the primary liaison for telecommunications and DAS/ ERRCS scopes, leading coordination meetings, managing GC and subcontractor relationships, and resolving conflicts to maintain project integrity.
- Telecommunications Infrastructure Oversight: Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of fiber optics, cabling, and network infrastructure, ensuring high-availability and scalability requirements are met. Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for network implementation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Quality Control: Conduct site inspections and review documentation to ensure all work adheres to design specifications, safety standards, and quality benchmarks.
- Follow-Up and Issue Resolution: Track deliverables and resolve issues to ensure timely project completion and client satisfaction.
- Stakeholder Communication and Reporting: Provide regular updates to clients and stakeholders, aligning deliverables with needs and maintaining communication with vendors, GC, Engineers and subcontractors.
- Material Management: Monitor material lead times and procurement status
- Risk Management and Contingency Planning: Identify risks and implement contingency plans to address challenges like supply chain delays, ensuring project success.
- Project Closeout and Handover: Ensure systems are tested, commissioned, and documented

MUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of project management experience in network design and implementation with proven ability to lead large-scale, complex projects through all phases of delivery.
- Strong technical understanding of network, security, A/V, DAS/ERRCS, BMS/EPMS
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with a collaborative approach
- Experience with data center or mission-critical facilities.
- Experience in developing and maintaining enterprise-level specifications across multiple projects or sites.
- Experience handling multiple large-scale projects with overlapping requirements and deliverables simultaneously
- Proficiency with MS Word and MS PowerPoint
Compensation Range: $133,000.00 - $154,000.00
