Full Job Description
MANAGER/DIRECTOR, FP&A: ROLE OVERVIEWElevate is looking for a Manager/Director, FP&A to be the primary finance business partner to our Creative vertical - a project-based design and creative services business that comprises our existing creative team plus two recently acquired agencies operating across U.S. and international markets. Based in Nashville, this hire will partner across the global Creative team as their go-to finance lead. This is a hands-on role for an ambitious and experienced finance manager who is eager to lead, work independently, and roll up their sleeves. The successful candidate will build operating cadence and discipline from the ground up, drive monthly rhythm across studios, and act as a real partner to Creative leadership and delivery teams. At this time, we're interested in meeting with both Manager and Director level candidates for this opportunity. The final leveling and compensation will be calibrated based on overall experience, demonstrated expertise, and the anticipated scope of the role, as we're casting a broad net to identify the strongest fit for the team. NetSuite is in place and CMAP is being rolled out as our new globally standardized project management system; we need someone who will define how those tools are used day-to-day rather than wait for perfect systems. This person will own reporting and forecasting for the global Creative vertical. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Serve as the primary FP&A business partner to the Creative vertical, our design and creative services business line • Build and run the monthly operating cadence - which includes partnering with accounting to ensure consistency in revenue recognition and billing processes • Standardize how the Creative business is reported and forecasted globally • Translate financial results into clear, actionable insight for non-finance stakeholders, and challenge the business on project performance, pricing, scoping, and resourcing decisions • Help define and embed the operating use of NetSuite and CMAP within the Creative vertical, partnering with FP&A, Accounting, and Operations on system configuration, data quality, and reporting • Support the ongoing financial and operational integration of the two newly acquired agencies, harmonizing reporting, KPIs, and operating rhythm across studios and entities • Identify and drive process, control, and reporting improvements as the Creative business scales and integrates QUALIFICATIONS: The qualifications listed below represent the credentials necessary to perform the essential functions of this position. To be successful in this position, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. A. Education and/or Experience • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field • 5-8 years (or 8+ years for Director level) of progressive finance experience, with meaningful time in FP&A or finance business partner roles in a project-based environment (creative agency, design, marketing services, consulting, or professional services) • Demonstrated track record of building processes, cadence, and controls from scratch - not just running BAU • Exposure to multi-studio, multi-entity, or multi-currency operations across U.S. and international markets is a plus • Experience implementing or operationalizing finance and project management systems (NetSuite and/or CMAP strongly preferred), with a focus on building underlying operating cadence first B. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities • Ambitious, hands-on operator with a strong ownership mentality - eager to lead and work independently • Ability to translate financial results into clear, actionable insight for non-finance stakeholders • Drives monthly cadence and discipline - timesheets, forecasting, project reviews, and variance analysis • Advanced Excel modeling skills; working knowledge of NetSuite (or comparable ERP) and project / resource management tools is a plus • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail in a multi-entity, multi-currency context • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and build trust with non-finance stakeholders across multiple teams and time zones POSITION AND BENEFITS DETAILS:
  • Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Short-Term & Long-Term Disability Insurance + FSA, HSA, and more
