Job Description:

What will you work on?

The Manager, Digital Workplace Engineering is accountable for the architecture, engineering, governance, and delivery of the organization's end-user computing environment, including corporate endpoints, application platforms, and supporting services.

This role owns the design, standardization, lifecycle management, and cost optimization of all digital workplace technologies. The position operates as the technical authority for endpoint and application platforms and serves as the primary bridge between business requirements and enterprise technology delivery.This is a senior, hands-on technical leadership role with clear progression toward broader people and platform leadership.

How will you create impact?
  • Architect, engineer, and maintain the global endpoint environment (Windows, macOS, mobile).
  • Own and continuously improve endpoint management platforms (Intune, Autopilot, MDM/UEM).
  • Define and enforce device standards, security baselines, and configuration policies.
  • Lead hardware lifecycle management, refresh strategy, and device standardization.
  • Establish patching, compliance, and vulnerability remediation processes.
  • Drive automation of provisioning, configuration, and remediation activities.
  • Own the full lifecycle of third-party applications.
  • Govern licensing, utilization, renewals, and retirement decisions.
  • Maintain centralized visibility into application inventory, usage, and spend.
  • Partner with IT Finance and Procurement to optimize software costs.
  • Lead application packaging, testing, and deployment standards.
  • Reduce redundancy and drive platform consolidation.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable technical designs.
  • Develop and maintain digital workplace architecture standards.
  • Lead major endpoint and application rollout initiatives.
  • Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of end-user platforms
  • Act as the primary technical advisor for digital workplace solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business leaders.
  • Develop and execute multi-year platform roadmaps.
  • Lead vendor evaluation and technical due diligence.
  • Support enterprise initiatives requiring workplace technology enablement.
  • Establish documentation, standards, and operating procedures while driving automation and self-service adoption.
  • Monitor platform health and service performance.
  • Partner with Service Desk and Field Support to reduce incident volume.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives.


What are your skills and experience?
  • 7+ years of progressive IT experience in endpoint, systems, or workplace engineering.
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, and modern endpoint management.
  • Deep experience supporting Windows and macOS in enterprise environments.
  • Proven scripting and automation capability (PowerShell preferred).
  • Demonstrated ownership of application and SaaS portfolios.
  • Experience designing standardized, scalable platforms.
  • Strong stakeholder communication and influence skills.

The anticipated pay range for candidates who will work in Ontario is $110,000 to $115,000 Per Annum. The offered pay to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, education, etc. Spin Master Inc. is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work only in other states.
