Purpose:

The Manager, Digital Platforms supports the development, evolution, and delivery of iTRADE's digital platform strategy and client experience roadmap. The role is accountable for translating strategic priorities into defined client journeys, execution plans, and decision-ready recommendations that support both near-term delivery and long-term platform modernization. The role works across a portfolio of digital initiatives aimed at enhancing client acquisition, engagement, investing experiences, and ongoing relationship growth.

This role operates in a fast paced, agile environment and requires strong delivery leadership, sound judgment, and the ability to align cross functional stakeholders across iTRADE, Wealth, and Retail to deliver measurable outcomes with minimal supervision.

Major Accountabilities:

Digital Platform Strategy, Roadmap, and Delivery:
  • Support the development and execution of iTRADE's digital platform roadmap, informed by client needs, business priorities, competitive trends, and strategic objectives.
  • Translate strategic direction into defined clientjourneys, capability roadmaps, business requirements, and execution plans. Support the delivery of digital initiatives across the client lifecycle, including onboarding, account servicing, trading, portfolio management, engagement, and guidance experiences.
  • Lead the assessment, prioritization, and development of new platform capabilities that improve client experience, drive engagement, and support business growth.
  • Support the evolution of guided investing and hybrid advice capabilities as part of the broader digital platform strategy.
  • Ensure solutions are scalable and aligned with future opportunities across Wealth, Retail Banking, and enterprise platforms.

Cross Functional Execution & Enablement:
  • Partner with Digital, Technology, Data, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Marketing, and Wealth teams to ensure strategic intent is reflected in experience design and delivery priorities.
  • Support cross-functional squads by identifying risks, dependencies, trade-offs, and execution considerations across scope, timing, and investment.
  • Develop business cases, requirements, and recommendations to support investment decisions and roadmap prioritization.
  • Evaluate build-versus-buy opportunities, vendor solutions, and emerging industry capabilities to support platform evolution.
  • Coordinate stakeholder alignment and support delivery of initiatives from concept through implementation.

Performance Measurement, Governance & Continuous Improvement:
  • Support the development of success metrics across adoption, engagement, conversion, and retention.
  • Prepare executive-ready materials, including journey artifacts, strategy decks, and progress updates.
  • Use insights and performance data to inform refinements to journeys and roadmap recommendations.
  • Contributes to a high-performance environment and an inclusive work environment.

Risk Management:
  • Understand how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
  • Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of their respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank's Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.
