Job Title: Manager, Digital Communications
Reports to: Director, Digital Communications
JOB PURPOSE: Lead the execution of the public relations and digital communications strategy to drive brand equity, retail growth, and a high-impact presence across digital and social platforms. Partner with global headquarters to localize international initiatives, while cultivating strategic relationships with top-tier editors, journalists, digital creators, and fashion tastemakers across North America.
Press Strategy & Regional Execution - Drive the digital public relations strategy to enhance brand equity and accelerate retail and e-commerce growth.
- Partner directly with global communications teams in Paris to localize and execute global strategies across regional markets for North America.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with advertising, merchandising, e-commerce and events teams to ensure a cohesive brand narrative aligned with seasonal buys and to identify high-impact PR opportunities.
Media Relations & Editorial Coverage - Cultivate and maintain high-level relationships with key editors, journalists, stylists, and digital media platforms across top-tier digital and social media outlets.
- Secure premium editorial coverage, features, and brand profiling that align with the Maison's positioning and seasonal storytelling.
- Manage proactive and reactive media pitching, directing strategic outreach initiatives.
Collateral & Sample Management - Oversee the management of digital assets, press collateral, and brand communication tools across all product categories.
- Manage press samples, loan requests, and sample tracking for editorial shoots, digital projects, and special initiatives.
- Draft press texts, talking points, and media alerts reflecting the brand's tone of voice and editorial guidelines.
Reporting & Competitor Intelligence - Direct the analysis and distribution of daily, weekly, and campaign-level digital press impact reports.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on press coverage and campaign performance, utilizing media monitoring tools to calculate metrics such as Earned Media Value (EMV) and share of voice.
- Monitor competitor activity, cultural trends, and industry shifts to conceptualize innovative press initiatives.
REQUIREMENTS - 5+ years of public relations experience within the luxury fashion or lifestyle sector, with a heavy emphasis on Digital PR and communications
- Deep, authoritative understanding of the fashion and digital media landscape
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels
- Advanced planning, organizational, and project management skills with rigorous attention to detail
- Absolute discretion in handling confidential, sensitive, and high-profile brand information
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and industry platforms such as FGPS, DMR and social media monitoring tools
- Proven, demonstrable track record of securing high-profile placements with top-tier national and regional media outlets
The selected candidate will be offered a salary within the range of $100,000 - $110,000 annually. The salary offered will be dependent upon the candidate's relevant skills and experience.
