Job Summary: The Manager of Development for Popeyes US East is responsible for managing our fast-paced development process, supporting franchisees and field teams in driving pipeline performance for openings and remodels. The Development Lead is a project manager and invaluable execution partner, leading a site from property control through the restaurant opening. Additionally, the Development Lead is a self-starter who is responsible for ensuring the organization achieves its ambitious goals for net restaurant growth and restaurant image.
RBI follows a 5 day, in-office work schedule to support collaboration. Successful candidates will be expected to work onsite 5 days per week.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for partnering with franchisees to achieve industry-leading net restaurant growth
- Build relationships with franchisees to ensure swift execution of their development pipeline for current and future years
- Delivers and executes remodel plans to bring the new Popeyes brand identity into the market
- Build strong working relationships and influence cross-functional teams, including but not limited to Franchising, Deals, Market Planning, Legal, Real Estate, Design, Construction, Tech, and Field
- Develops and delivers presentations both internally and externally to executive-level leadership
- Assists and advises during negotiations for development agreement decisions and amendments
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate or a related field required
- 3-5+ years relevant work experience, project management experience preferred
- Excellent organizational and communication skills required
- Technical excel modeling and high-level data analytics skills; Smartsheet experience preferred
- Ability to decipher ambiguous, complex information and present it in a clear concise manner
