The OpportunityThe Manager - Product Management is responsible for the day-to-day management of Ally's checking product offering. This person will possess a full understanding of the customer experience, be aware of consumer needs, and recommend opportunities to continue to grow the product set and value proposition to serve the customer. This role will be responsible for the successful communication of business requirements and goals across a broad, matrixed organization (including technology requirements, operational and contact center impacts, and marketing needs). The ideal candidate should be a strong collaborator, detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task, and a highly effective communicator.

The Work Itself - Responsible for day-to-day product management activities for the checking product.
- Manage product/ customer change initiatives from planning through tactical implementation, including business case development, creation and oversight of implementation of business requirements, and project execution.
- Daily collaboration with digital, analytics, marketing, technology, and operations teams to facilitate analysis and drive initiatives to completion.
- Cross-functional communication to ensure consistency and alignment with strategic direction.
- Business results reporting and performance metrics analysis.
- Analysis of data, research, and customer VOC to identify and recommend product development opportunities.
- Responsible for managing key vendors including performance management, SLA's, contract dynamics and the overall relationship.
- Responsible for risk mitigation and full compliance with all changes in the regulatory environment.
The Skills You BringMinimum Qualifications - 7+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- High school Diploma or GED equivalent
Preferred Qualifications - 5+ years of experience in financial services with product or project management/product owner experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or equivalent background preferred.
- Strong analytic focus.
- Ability to partner well with across multiple skill sets and levels, with strong relationship management and collaboration skills.
- Understanding of basic financial concepts
- Attention to detail, highly-organized individual who multi-tasks well Strategic and creative thinker.
- Expert problem solver with an eye to continuous improvement.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.

Base Pay Range: $90000 - $150000 USD
An individual's position in the range is determined by the specific role, the scope and responsibilities of the role, work experience, education, certification(s), training, and additional qualifications. We review internal pay, the competitive market, and business environment prior to extending an offer.
Incentive Compensation: This position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan.
