Position Summary

At Nestlé Canada, we are looking for a Manager, Demand Planning Excellence to lead and elevate demand planning capabilities across the organization.

In this role, you will drive enterprise-wide demand planning performance, ensuring high-quality forecasting and continuous improvement across all business units. You will play a key role in standardizing processes, driving improvements through the S&OP, S&OE management processes, positioning the organization for long-term success. Note: This position is an existing vacancy.

A day in the life of an Manager, Demand Planning Excellence:

Demand Planning Performance & Process Excellence
• Lead and support demand planning activities across all categories and business units
• Drive improvements in key KPIs, including forecast accuracy (DPA), customer service levels (COF), bias, and waste reduction
• Identify and implement best practices to standardize and optimize demand planning processes
• Reduce manual work and drive automation and simplification initiatives

S&OP / S&OE Leadership
• Own and support enterprise demand planning processes within S&OP and S&OE frameworks
• Facilitate cross-functional alignment and drive effective decision-making
• Partner with stakeholders to improve planning cycle efficiency and outcomes

Data, Reporting & Insights
• Develop and deliver high-quality KPI reporting and performance analysis
• Monitor demand planning performance and identify root causes for gaps
• Provide actionable insights and partner with stakeholders to implement improvement plans

Tools & Digital Enablement
• Support evaluation and implementation of demand planning tools and systems (e.g., OMP, SAS)
• Collaborate with Digital Acceleration teams to enhance planning capabilities
• Contribute to digital transformation initiatives within supply chain planning

Capability Building & Collaboration
• Provide training, mentorship, and support to the demand planning community
• Foster knowledge sharing and adoption of best practices across teams
• Partner with Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations stakeholders

What will make you successful?
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in demand/supply planning or related supply chain roles
• Experience working with S&OP / S&OE processes
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data
• Experience with demand planning systems (e.g., OMP, SAP)
• Knowledge of end-to-end supply chain processes and planning frameworks
• Experience with reporting and analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, SAP BW)

• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across functions

Compensation Range: $90,000 - $105,000 CAD + Bonus eligibility
