Your role:The Manager, Deal Structuring & Valuation will be a key contributor to the Deals Office team, supporting the financial analysis, modeling, and structuring of strategic deals across recorded music and music publishing. This role is crucial in ensuring that deal proposals are financially sound, align with our strategic objectives, and contribute to long-term growth and shareholder value. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a foundational understanding of the music and entertainment industry.
Here you'll get to:- Assist in building comprehensive financial models and valuation analyses (e.g., DCF, IRR, payback period) for potential deals.
- Support the structuring of deal terms and economic frameworks in collaboration with business, legal, and creative teams.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform deal assumptions and valuation benchmarks.
- Prepare detailed presentations and reports for deal committee reviews, summarizing financial projections and key deal terms.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of consistent modeling approaches and templates.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary data and insights for deal analysis.
- Participate in post-deal reviews to understand actual performance versus initial deal thesis and identify areas for improvement in future deal structuring.
- Stay informed on relevant industry trends, emerging business models, and deal-making best practices.
About you:- 2-5 years of experience in finance, investment banking, corporate development, or a related analytical role, preferably within the music, entertainment, or media industries.
- Demonstrated experience in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and data analysis.
- Strong understanding of P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with high attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or CFA a plus.

The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as work experience and business needs. The pay range is subject to change at any time dependent on a variety of internal and external factors.
