Manager of Day Surgery PACU

Milwaukee, WI area

With almost 700 beds, this leader in WI healthcare has been nationally recognized for its quality of care in many areas.

They are a not-for-profit Wisconsin integrated health care provider, with locations in more than 90 communities throughout Wisconsin, including 15 hospitals!

They have an immediate opening for a Rock Star RN to run their Day Surgery and PACU units and continue the great work of the department.

The Manager of Day Surgery PACU will:

Manages all patient care services for the post anesthesia care unit and same day surgery. Ensures adequate staffing of nursing and other clinical and support staff.

Evaluates the quality of patient care provided in the specialty area through collaboration with unit and organization resource people. Ensures policies and procedures are in compliance with those of the medical center, the nursing department, and regulatory agencies.

Qualifications:

License & Certifications:
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the caregiver practices.

Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.

Experience:
  • Typically requires 5 years of experience in surgical services or related area.
  • Includes 1 year of supervisory experience in of staff and budgets.
