Full Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY:

The Manager Data Product will own the roadmap, requirements, and delivery of the core components of the enterprise data platform. This role focuses on foundational capabilities such as ingestion, data pipelines, governance frameworks, and operationalize platform reliability.

DESCRIPTION:

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities
  • Translate business and technical needs into data product requirements.
  • Define and maintain the platform foundations roadmap, prioritizing stability, scalability, and adoption.
  • Collaborate with engineering to deliver high-quality platform features and services.
  • Partner with data governance, security, and architecture teams on standards and compliance.
  • Help standardize event models, patterns, and governance across the data products.
  • Track KPIs related to data platform reliability, ingestion throughput, and data quality.
  • Ensure the foundational layer enables downstream analytics, ML, and application use cases.
  • Gather feedback from internal users to continuously improve platform usability and performance.
  • Ensure data product adoption and business enablement plan.
  • Ability to effectively and accurately convey information to others.
  • Performs related duties as assigned by management.


Qualifications and Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a business administration degree preferred.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
  • Working on-site at assigned office location.
  • Regular and punctual attendance adhering to schedule established by leadership.
  • Flexibility to work occasional adjusted work schedules, overtime, and evening and/or weekend hours to meet deadlines or as business needs demand.
  • Working in a cubicle hub, maintaining focus on phone calls in a noisy environment within earshot of multiple other conversations.
  • Sedentary work in a stationary position at a cubicle for prolonged periods of time.
  • Constant repetitive motions required for operating a computer, such as typing and managing phone calls.
  • Constantly communicating effectively verbally in English, including accurately exchanging information with others following identification of correct procedures.
