Job Title: Manager - Sales Planning, D2C LFB (LUXE)

What You Will Do:The
Manager ofSales Planning, LUXE D2C LFB will be tasked with instilling a data-driven approach to sales planning and forecasting across our portfolio of fragrance brands on D2C as we create the strategy to best reach our consumer and meet their needs. This individual will be the key owner of the sales planning, sales forecasting and inventory management across multiple LUXE brands.
Job Duties and Accountabilities- Drive integrated financial and inventory planning for the Luxe portfolio by translating consumer engagement metrics (AOV, ASP, Traffic, and Conversion) into actionable end-to-end sales forecast
- Partner with the Demand Planning organization to harmonize sales forecasts, ensuring cross-functional alignment that serves as the foundation for inventory optimizations and procurement
- Orchestrate omnichannel inventory strategies with the O+O Supply Planning team to optimize stock health and ensure seamless product availability across all brands
- Drive cross-functional synchronization across the Luxe portfolio, bridging channel-specific strategies with Finance and Supply Chain to reconcile sales projections and identify key levers for margin and profitability improvement
- Facilitate data-led decision-making by pinpointing key drivers in product and promotional performance, collaborating with commercial and site experience stakeholders to scale high-impact strategies that enhance long- and short-term planning
- Cultivate a deep understanding of the luxury beauty consumer journey to anchor forecasting and strategic planning, rooting financial and inventory decisions in evolving shopper behaviors and market trends
Key Challenges, Issues and Complexity This individual is creative and analytical. This person will work closely with a broad cross functional team to develop strong plans that meet financial commitments.
The individual must possess the ability to pivot quickly as this function is in constant evolution and the landscape is changing by the minute. This person must embody the L'Oréal values of 'test and learn' and 'fail fast' to learn the dynamics of what makes the ecommerce business unique.
This individual is excited to dig into the data and identify learnings and insights that will help the greater division and its brands identify risks and opportunities while developing strong cross functional relationships.
This individual has strong time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, often-changing environment. This individual is also a proactive problem-solver, with the ability to anticipate obstacles and quickly generate alternate solutions/ideas.
What We Are Looking For:Required Qualifications:
- College Degree
- 5-7+ years of experience in a role focusing on sales planning, forecasting or a similar function; experience with direct-to-consumer businesses is a plus
- Strong knowledge and skill with Microsoft Excel necessary; knowledge of other MS Office tools a plus
- Expert knowledge and skill with data, data management, data activation and statistics, particularly as it relates to eCommerce and consumer analytics; experience with ecommerce is a plus
- Strong knowledge and skill with creating projections & detailed forecasts
- Ability to lead presentations and effectively analyze and translate data into actionable business plans
- Creative problem solver with the ability to prioritize initiatives and anticipate business needs
- Strong Project management background to manage the everchanging digital retail landscape and to build a standard best practice across our luxury brands
- Ability to build effective partnerships and interact successfully with diverse individuals at all levels
- Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data into actionable insights and optimizations
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically, innovatively, and creatively using sound business judgment and quantitative skills
