The Role

The Manager Critical Infrastructure Tech Support is responsible for operation and maintenance of all critical infrastructure within the Lumen technical facilities throughout North America. This includes management a team of Engineers and Technicians. This position will lead a team whose responsibility is Tier 2 and 3 support of critical infrastructure with a goal of avoiding outages, reduce outage times and increase customer satisfaction.

The Main Responsibilities

- Establish operational objectives and work plans
- Administer team processes and procedures
- Develop personal and professional goals and objectives for staff
- Execute strategies and tactics to increase operational productivity and efficiency
- Monitor and report process effectiveness and key performance indicators
- Provide superior leadership by identifying key business drivers and influencing others to meet and exceed customer expectations and company objectives
- Develop and manage budgets for designated areas and lead a team of Engineers and Technicians
- Manage operations in a specified geographical area, including all Operations Engineers and technical employees
- Ensure installation and maintenance service levels are maintained and budget execution is administered
- Manage multiple activities in a rapidly changing technological environment
- Integrate department responsibilities to achieve efficient and effective overall operations
- Demonstrate ability to plan, organize, and schedule multiple projects and staff to meet changing priorities and deadlines
- Participate in managing large-scale incidents such as natural disasters and disaster preparedness
- Perform other duties as assigned

What We Look For in a Candidate

Bachelors degree or equivalent education and experience supporting critical infrastructure.
Typically with 5-7 years related experience and 1+ year previous supervisory / leadership experience preferred.
Experience with AC/DC power and/or Mechanical Systems is preferred.

Compensation

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.

Location Based Pay Ranges

$84,629 - $112,838 in these states: AZ

$88,860 - $118480 in these states: NV

$93,092 - $124,122 in these states: CA, WA
