Overview and ResponsibilitiesThe Manager, Corporate Strategic Services Finance is a critical member of the Corporate Finance team. Key components of the role include preparing forecasts, performing P&L variance analysis, and managing workflow across the divisions and departments the role supports. In addition, the Manager will provide analysis in support of strategic decision-making, long-range financial plans, annual budgets, and forecasts. The candidate must be able to work collaboratively across the organization, engaging with our partners in Human Resources and Finance.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist in the preparation of the long-range plan, annual budget, and monthly forecasts for domestic compensation and headcount and SG&A in collaboration with business partners and Finance aligned with the company's fiscal calendar
- Gather information and prepare monthly and quarterly cause-of-change analysis for divisions and departments the role supports
- Partner with key touchpoints in Human Resources to plan changes related to organization structure changes and business-as-usual updates in headcount and compensation
- Support department head stakeholders with reporting and analysis of departmental expenses
- Ad hoc analysis and reports
- Overtime may be required, particularly for monthly forecasts and annual budget submissions
- Successful candidate will bring robust analytical and problem-solving skills, and be able to juggle multiple and frequently changing priorities
Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
- Minimum 6+ years of experience in Financial Planning/Reporting & Analysis/Accounting related experience
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Microsoft Edge)
Additional Qualifications: - Ability to communicate successfully across various departments and with various levels throughout the organization. The accuracy of maintained compensation and headcount data will be an important key performance indicator of this role
- CPA, ACCA (or equivalent) a plus
- Experience in Oracle, Longview and SAP a plus
- Experience in the Media and Entertainment industry a plus
- Strong working knowledge of general accounting principles, concepts and processes (US GAAP/IFRS)
- Strive to identify process efficiency/effectiveness improvement opportunities and propose suggestions and issue resolutions

- Demonstrate ability to work autonomously and show ownership and accountability for assigned tasks and meet deadlines

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $105,000 - $132,000.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
