Role Overview: Lead SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) compliance for the Health Services segment. Partner with internal audit teams, business leaders, and external auditors to strengthen financial controls, manage risk, and improve SOX processes and tools.
Key Responsibilities
Audit Project Management- Lead and manage multiple SOX projects from planning to completion
- Review process documentation and define project scope
- Create project plans, assign work, and manage timelines
- Identify resource needs and coordinate with leadership
- Track budgets, risks, and project progress
- Support team training and present updates to stakeholders
SOX Audit Execution & Reporting- Lead annual SOX planning (risk assessment, scoping, materiality)
- Evaluate key controls and define testing approaches
- Oversee audit fieldwork and review deliverables
- Identify control issues and partner on remediation solutions
- Monitor changes in the business and recommend control improvements
- Track testing progress and report status to leadership
- Communicate risks, controls, and results clearly to teams and partners
Team Support- Complete required reporting and support department initiatives
- Promote a culture of integrity, inclusion, and collaboration
- Contribute to a positive and effective team environment
QualificationsRequired- 5+ years of accounting or auditing experience
- Ability to travel up to 10%
Preferred- CPA, CIA, or progress toward certification
- Experience managing audit projects
- Strong understanding of internal controls and risk
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Education- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:
$66,330.00 - $145,860.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
