Job DescriptionJob SummaryThe Manager, Contract Administration leads the organization's contract lifecycle management (CLM) function, establishing standards, processes, and governance to ensure contracts are negotiated, executed, stored, and administered in a timely, compliant, and business-aligned manner. This role partners closely with Sales, Sales Admin, Operations, Finance, Legal, and business leadership.
Responsibilities- Manage and continuously improve end-to-end contract administration processes, including intake, drafting support, negotiation support, approvals, execution, obligations tracking, amendments, renewals, and closeout.
- Understand AGS Gaming's business, culture, products, markets, facilities, customers, and competitors; and utilize that knowledge working with internal/external clients.
- Serve as primary point of contact for contractual matters, on the Contract Administration team handling various contract requests from internal stakeholders.
- Review, draft and prepare Slot and Table Game sales orders, lease orders, purchase orders, and Customer Master Agreements amendments, and addendums.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the contract administration team; set goals, measure performance, and ensure appropriate workload distribution and coverage.
- Partner with Legal to support risk-based contracting practices, escalate issues, and ensure alignment with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Oversee contract repository and data integrity; ensure appropriate access controls, retention practices, and audit-ready recordkeeping.
- Implement and optimize CLM tools/workflows; define requirements, coordinate with IT/Systems, drive adoption, and report on KPIs (e.g., cycle time, backlog, template utilization, risk exceptions).
- Manage obligations and deliverables tracking, including milestones, service levels, insurance, reporting, and compliance requirements; coordinate with business owners on performance.
- Prepare and present dashboards, trend analyses, and recommendations to leadership regarding contracting risk, operational efficiency, and process improvements.
- Maintain consistent communications with internal/external clients, including in-person discussions, telephone calls, and emails.
- Maintains and continually strives to improve internal client relations by building credibility and creating an atmosphere of positive teamwork and problem solving.
- Coordinates with Sales Administration department to ensure accurate generation of contracts for gaming equipment.
- Meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Skills/Requirements- Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent practical experience). This is a non-attorney position.
- 7+ years of corporate legal experience and progressive experience in contract administration, contracts management, CLM systems (Conga, Apttus, Ironclad, CRM systems (Salesforce), procurement, sales administration, and legal operations.
- Prior experience in the casino gaming and/or slot gaming manufacturer industry.
- Strong Proficiency and significant experience reviewing, drafting, redlining, and negotiating agreements.
- Strong Proficiency and significant experience with CLM systems and contract repositories; ability to drive process and system adoption, implementation and automation of contract tools and CLM systems.
- Strong Proficiency and significant experience with Salesforce; ability to drive process, workflows, and system adoption, implementation, and automation of Salesforce in conjunction with contract tools and systems integrated and utilizing Salesforce.
- Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications- Paralegal degree or certification preferred.
- Expertise in implementing, managing, and administering CLM platforms (e.g., Conga, Apttus, Ironclad, Icertis, Coupa, DocuSign CLM, Agiloft), contract tools, and integrating with CRM/ERP (Salesforce).
- Familiarity with revenue recognition concepts and commercial deal structures (e.g., SaaS, services, subscriptions, usage-based, or project-based contracting).
- Experience leading change management and continuous improvement initiatives.
