Job Description:About the Role:
As the Manager, Consumer Ventures & Strategy, you will support strategy and launch workstreams inside Dow Jones's biggest new consumer bets. You will help take a workstream from thesis to live product: build the case, build the model, shape the GTM, line up partnerships, and design the org.
You will work on-site in our Midtown Manhattan office 3 days each week and report to the VP, Consumer Ventures & Strategy.
You Are:
- An operator, not just a deck maker; you can support the building and communication of the strategy, and also put it into action
- Analytical. You can build a financial model, understand user data and research, and know what questions to ask to evaluate an opportunity
- A consumer of media and news with a point of view about the future of the content and data business
- Comfortable with ambiguity and able to bring structure to complex problems
- Ability to work with a range of stakeholders across levels, functions, industries, and geographies
You Will:
- Develop business cases, financial models, and launch plans for new ventures
- Support commercial, partnership, and org design decisions for new ventures
- Help shape the broader Dow Jones consumer strategy and operating model
- Execute on strategic initiatives
You Have:
- 7+ years combining top-tier consulting or corporate strategy with at least one operating tour
- At least: fluency with AI and ideas about how to use it to achieve our goals; At best: experience using AI to build new things and improve workflows
- The willingness to work in our Midtown Manhattan office at least 3 days each week
- A plus: Media, content, and/or subscription experience
- A plus: Experience building and launching new things

Base Pay Range: $125,000 - $155,000
