The Opportunity

We are looking for a manager to join our Commerce Intelligence team, working within our Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC) consulting team. As a manager on the team, you are a strategic thought leader and trusted advisor who transforms complex data into actionable business strategies, driving measurable impact for our enterprise clients and shaping industry best practices.

You will be responsible for leading consulting engagements by conducting actionable research & analysis, creating & executing queries, and delivering solutions to address our clients' top opportunities & challenges.

What You Will Do:
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in large complex data sets, including but not limited to AMC
  • Conduct quantitative analysis of trends within digital commerce; research and analyze media/retail strategies and best practices from retailers and brands
  • Design and execute multi-step SQL analyses that address sophisticated client business questions
  • Troubleshoot data quality issues and validate query results to ensure analytical integrity
  • Interpret business questions and analyze the relevant AMC dataset to solve the client ask.
  • Identify implications of analysis to client's marketing strategy, business objectives and potential growth opportunities
  • Build presentations, best practice case studies and other support materials to assist in consulting engagements
  • Partner cross-functionally to deliver insights on media effectiveness, path to purchase, digital commerce strategies, etc. and presents finding to clients virtually (and in-person as needed)
  • Create and lead presentations to internal and external stakeholder groups, influence client strategy through compelling insights and data storytelling

Who You Are:
  • Working experience as a data analyst or business intelligence analyst, with a proven history of driving insights through data analysis and presenting findings
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effective communication skills, written and oral, with ability to turn data into compelling stories and insights, influencing both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Advanced experience in SQL and working with large datasets in a business environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of the digital retail industry, digital media, retailers' strategies and manufacturer/retailer ways of working (preferred)
  • Experience with retailer marketing cloud and data clean room environments (preferred)
  • Qualification or equivalent experience in Mathematics, Economics, Data Science, Information Management or Statistics


CAD $125,000

Omnicom's policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager. Our objective is to increase this requirement over time, and many of our agencies as well as Omnicom's corporate group already require five days of in-office attendance.
