Department: Real Estate & Facilities Reports To: Senior Director, Real Estate & FacilitiesLocation: Toronto (Hybrid / Travel as Required)Employment Type: Permanent Full-TimeAbout the RoleWe're looking for a Manager, Construction Projects to lead the planning and execution of clinic construction and renovation projects across Canada.
This role is responsible for managing projects end-to-end, from design and planning through to delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are consistently met. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver high-quality clinic environments that support operational and patient experience goals.
What You'll Do- Manage multiple construction and renovation projects simultaneously, from design through final delivery
- Coordinate architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors to ensure projects are executed effectively
- Partner with internal teams including Operations, Finance, and Marketing to align on project requirements
- Develop and manage project budgets, timelines, and deliverables
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory standards
- Lead tendering processes and contract negotiations with external partners
- Identify and resolve risks related to timelines, costs, and project execution
- Prepare and present project updates and progress reports to leadership
- Support and guide internal construction team activities and respond to clinic-related requests.
What You Bring- 5+ years of experience in commercial multi-site construction project management
- Experience in medical, dental, or healthcare environments is preferred
- Post-secondary education in construction management, engineering, project management, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of building codes, safety standards, and construction best practices
- Experience managing both internal teams and external contractors/vendors
- Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project, Procore, AutoCAD, or similar
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel across Canada as required based on project needs
- Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset
