Job Description:
SummaryAs part of the Ryder team, the Manager, Competitive Intelligence performs research and analysis, including project management (often with broadly defined objectives), of corporate strategy initiatives. He/She will present this information and analysis to all levels of company management.
Essential Functions- Provide robust research and analysis to support Sales & Marketing initiatives and Key Intelligence Topics and Industry Disrupting Trends
- Communicate with stakeholders across the company to ensure that distributed intelligence provided is actionable and timely
- Utilize intelligence garnered from primary and secondary research activities to develop and maintain detailed strategic and operational profiles on key competitors, suppliers, partners and designated key intelligence topics
- Support intelligence distribution activities, including presentations to Ryder's Leadership Team, webinars, and Board-level documentation
- Continuously identify and maintain a database of relevant source of primary and secondary research, including industry analysts, market research firms, conferences, and others

Qualifications- Bachelor's degree required in Business, accounting, finance, engineering, economics
- Master's degree preferred MBA, accounting, finance, economics
- Two (2) years or more management consulting, leading corporate strategy, strategic planning and/or strategic initiatives required
- Seven (7) years or more of professional experience preferred
Travel - 0-10%

Compensation Information:
The compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's relevant experience; education, including relevant degrees or certifications; work location; market data/ranges; internal equity; internal salary ranges; etc. The position may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on the level and/or type. Compensation ranges for the position are below:
