Invariant seeks a Manager to join our growing Executive Engagement team. You'll work with a group of dynamic, highly-regarded experts to design bespoke executive engagement strategies for top and emerging business leaders.

Our clients range from well-known Fortune 500 companies to the most disruptive start-ups in the country. We help our clients solve complex challenges, create opportunities for growth, and connect with important stakeholders.

What you'll do
  • Develop and implement executive engagement and visibility plans, including relationship mapping, stakeholder development, thought leadership strategy, and event planning and execution.
  • Research and synthesize complex business and policy issues, distilling information into memos that support thought leadership, stakeholder mapping, and media engagement.
  • Draft and edit communications plans, correspondence, client memos and briefing documents, run-of-show agendas, talking points, and other collateral.
  • Lead and manage multiple projects and workstreams with competing priorities and deadlines, establishing clear timelines, coordinating across team members and stakeholders, driving deliverables forward, and ensuring high-quality execution, including on projects with short turnaround times.
  • Build and maintain relationships with senior government and private-sector leaders, identifying and leveraging relevant stakeholders for client engagement.
  • Build and maintain client relationships, leading meetings and providing strategic guidance to C-suite executives.
  • Maintain a strong attention to detail and self-motivation, working well with little supervision.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create pitch decks, presentation materials, briefings, and informative client deliverables.

Who you are
  • 4-6 years of experience in the strategic communications field, either at a communications agency, fundraising, in-house, trade association, in Congress, or on a political campaign, with significant research and writing experience.
  • Passionate about public affairs and relationship building, with exceptional project management skills and supreme attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines with a focus on detail and precision.
  • Excellent time management skills. Comfortable and adaptive when working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Solid communication skills and ability to manage both up and down.
  • Superior writing, editing, and research skills.
  • Conveys complex information clearly, both orally and written.
  • Proficient in use of digital software and technology, including databases such as Leadership Connect, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

The target salary range for this role is $95,000 - $120,000 USD annually. The base salary will be determined based on skills, experience, and market data.
