Full Job Description

The Opportunity

The Manager, Commercialization will be responsible for managing a team of Commercialization Managers that will deliver VIP Client Product Enablement and go to market programs. This role will be responsible for ensuring consistent best practices are implemented and leveraged across all projects and that commercialization plans are developed to ensure the ability to sell, implement and support. Responsible for ensuring the team supports and delivers go to market related activities, including management of Velera & vendor roadmaps, executing the beta process and ensuring client and organizational success as solutions are launched.

Day in the Life

  • Refine commercialization standard practices and ensure consistent best practices are adhered to across all projects and engage in ongoing process improvement practices.
  • Define and incorporate metrics to best express quality and readiness as well as the value of the process.
  • Be a steward of cross-functional engagement, driving transparency, commitment and collaboration with teams such as Sales, Project Delivery, Marketing, Legal, Finance and more.
  • Ensure commercialization activities operate within the policies and procedures of the organization.
  • Develop and implement short-term and long-term team goals and objectives to achieve the successful outcome of go to market and commercialization programs.
  • Execute a robust Pilot Process, including referenceable clients.
  • Provide direction and leadership to staff; guide, coach, mentor and develop staff ensuring compliance with processes and procedures
  • Handle interviewing, hiring, promotions, transfers, performance appraisals, compensation, counseling and termination of staff
  • Develop and maintain staff by applying the necessary training and leadership that will allow internal growth and advancement
  • Direct staff, to ensure that all duties are performed according to department performance standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Project Management Certification or related training/certification preferred.
  • Seven (7) years experience in Product Management, Project Management and/or related field.
  • Three (3) years of direct leadership experience
  • Experience in financial services, card payments, banking, and related products and processes highly preferred. 

Pay Equity

$105,600.00 - $134,600.00

Actual Pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
