Full Job Description
The Royal Caribbean Group has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Manager, Commercial Planning reporting to the AVP, Revenue Strategy.

Position is onsite and based in Miami, FL

The Manager, Commercial Planning is responsible for developing strategy and analytics that impact multiple areas across the commercial teams for the Celebrity Cruises brand. This individual will lead a high-performing team and maintain close working relationships with cross-functional leaders in Sales, Marketing, Revenue Planning, Ecommerce, and International. The Manager's responsibilities include KPI reporting, analysis, and business intelligence across relevant commercial activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage a small team of revenue strategy analysts with varying skill sets and experience levels-leading, coaching, mentoring, and developing team members into future leaders while driving strong performance and consistent, on-time execution.
  • Lead the process for setting forecasts across approximately 20 geographic markets and 5 booking channels for a brand that generates over $3 billion in annual net ticket revenue. Own the forecasting model, present recommendations to cross-functional leaders, and communicate targets to key stakeholders.
  • Refine demand models that inform the Revenue Management team's pricing and other strategic decisions.
  • Provide analytical thought leadership across a range of company initiatives.
  • Manage pricing and commercial performance of the brand's All-Included program, which generates over $40 million in annual revenue
  • Deliver relevant, actionable commercial data and insights to Revenue Management and other departments, including by fulfilling ad-hoc requests.
  • Partner with stakeholders and leaders in other departments to assess the commercial value and viability of strategic initiatives and projects.
  • Build cross-functional partnerships across the company to facilitate the design, research, development, and delivery of data, insights, and other deliverables.
  • Leverage generative AI tools such as Claude and Copilot to work efficiently and augment analytical output, and identify opportunities to automate workflows and increase the team's productivity.
  • Manage a complex, dynamic workload by prioritizing deliverables against the team's capacity and capabilities.


Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, business analytics, or a similar field from a four-year college or university.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of post-graduate experience; an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, combined with solid business and financial acumen.
  • Strong modeling skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, including strong experience with VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, and similar functions.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, including strong experience turning quantitative data into digestible presentations.
  • Ability to communicate complex quantitative analysis in a clear, digestible, and actionable manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven experience balancing multiple priorities, managing multiple projects with deadlines, and navigating ambiguity with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • MBA or Master's degree.
  • 8+ years of post-graduate experience.
  • Proficiency in SQL and knowledge of BI principles such as ETL, data modeling, and data warehousing.
  • Familiarity with revenue management concepts and tools.
  • Knowledge of reservations systems and revenue management data sources.
  • Experience using Hyperion, Hyperion Studio, and/or Brio Intelligence.
