Synopsis of the role

The Manager, Change Enablement is responsible for creating and leading the execution of end-to-end Change Enablement plans and programs that will be instrumental in preparing leaders and employees to embrace and adopt changes resulting from various significant organizational initiatives.

What You'll do
  • Conduct change enablement assessments and build plans to support ongoing business changes in our organization.
  • Conduct and coordinate the activities required in the change enablement plan, including stakeholder engagement, communication, training, readiness tracking, knowledge transfer and various forms of learning and education
  • Proactively identify resistance risks and develop solutions to address; partnering with senior leadership to eliminate barriers to change
  • Drive awareness of change enablement programs by leading the measurement, tracking, and reporting of project plan progress; develop reporting strategies and key performance indicators (KPIs); create status overview summaries of projects for senior leadership review; and present initiatives to steering committees and executives
  • Build change enablement capability leaders across the organization through education and coaching.
  • Use all available AI tools to modernize the planning and delivery of change enablement activities, and be comfortable exploring AI as an enabling tool..
  • Collaborate with the Director, Change Enablement on initiatives that build the profile of the Change Enablement practice across Equifax Canada.
  • Proactively identify risks to successful change adoption and work collaboratively to develop and implement appropriate responses; identify and address opportunities for process improvements (for example, training, documentation)
  • Facilitate the mapping of key business processes and suggest improvements from an end-user perspective.
  • Provide advice and support to the project team on advancing project outcomes and supporting executive leadership in their role as change champions
  • Partner with key stakeholders within the department, including business partners, program and project managers, process improvement specialists and technology subject matter experts, as well as with technology vendor partners, on organizational change enablement work
  • Work collaboratively with the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) to ensure integration of change enablement activities with project management activities


What Experience You need
  • Relevant post-secondary education combined with a minimum of 5 years of experience in change enablement, including on large scale projects
  • Expert knowledge of change enablement principles, methodologies and change processes
  • Demonstrated experience leading and managing organizational change initiatives
  • Professional change management certification is required (i.e. CCMP, Prosci, etc.)
  • Project management knowledge and experience is required
  • Proven ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment
  • Organizational skills to prioritize, manage and integrate work plans for a variety of projects
  • Demonstrated ability to think and plan strategically as well as manage conflicting demands, urgent tasks, and changing priorities
  • Able to analyze various forms of data, synthesize information to anticipate future trends and consequences and create innovative and flexible plans
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Experience working with AI tools in support of day-to-day work
  • Strong communication skills demonstrating a high level of professionalism in-person, verbally and in written formats
  • Confident presenter, comfortable with diverse audiences, including senior management
