Full Job Description
SALARY: $105,000 - $120,000

POSITION SUMMARY

The Manager, Capital Projects & Infrastructure will lead and deliver a variety of capital and subdivision projects. This is a dynamic role that involves working closely with developers, municipalities, contractors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure projects are executed efficiently, on time, within budget and in compliance with required standards.

KEY DUTIES
  • Manage end-to-end subdivision projects from agreements to energization, including coordination with various stakeholders including legal, developers, securities, insurance providers and inspectors.
  • Lead capital projects from pre-design through to construction, including consultant management, design review, compliance requirements and cost estimation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Operations, Engineering, Finance) to ensure alignment and smooth project delivery.
  • Coordinate procurement, material planning, work orders, and contractor oversight.
  • Support preparation and management of project budgets, prepare financial estimates, and support long-term planning of future projects.
  • Contribute to distribution system planning by identifying, planning and prioritizing subdivision and capital projects.
  • Troubleshoot field issues and resolve scope changes effectively.


SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • College diploma or degree in engineering or a related field.
  • CET, P.Eng., PMP, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 3-5 years related experience in utility, engineering, or infrastructure project management.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
