This role is accountable for development of new, and maintenance of existing, reporting on the Canadian consumer credit portfolios. The role is an ideal fit for someone who thrives on tackling complex challenges and has the expertise to manage the development, validation, and documentation of new and pre-existing reporting.

  • Develops and maintains the Canadian retail credit risk reporting framework and related operational procedures and processes.
  • Leads initiatives to improve reporting processes and increase levels of automation.
  • Designs, develops, and implements regular and ad-hoc reports to meet management and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Provides advice and guidance to assigned business/group on implementation of analytical and reporting solutions.
  • Works with data owners to fulfill analytical needs.
  • Coordinates the management of databases; ensures alignment and integration of data in adherence with data governance standards.
  • Ensures strong governance and effective controls across risk reporting activities in accordance with enterprise standards.
  • Provides information and supports the process for internal and external audits.
  • Applies expertise and thinks creatively to address unique or ambiguous situations and to find solutions to problems that can be complex and non-routine.
  • Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Typically between 4 to 6 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Expert in SAS and SQL.
  • Competent in Python, Linux scripting and Power Automate.
  • Competent in usage of git.
  • Experience of creating reports with Power BI an asset.
  • Expert knowledge of risk management reporting.
  • Expert knowledge of retail credit products.
  • Expert verbal and written communication skills.
  • Expert analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of risk management metrics, KPIs and KRIs.
  • In-depth knowledge of industry trends and regulatory requirements for risk reporting.
  • In-depth product knowledge for the designated business/portfolio.

Salary:

$69,000.00 - $129,000.00

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure.
