• Lead Supply Chain Planning team for a BU responsible for all aspects of demand and inventory planning activities
• Align the S&OP/IBP vision, strategy and processes with BU vision and strategic initiatives in support of optimizing sales growth, margin realization, inventory management and asset utilization
• Lead meetings with cross-functional teams and with the BU Executives to drive decision-making and alignment on the monthly consensus demand and supply forecasts with rigorous analysis resulting in options, risk scenarios and recommendations
• Oversee team consensus of the monthly S&OP/IBP volume process including maintenance of rolling future month consensus demand plans, development of demand drivers and assumptions and gaining full alignment with the appropriate stakeholders
• Determine optimal inventory for key items across entire supply chain by establishing target levels, assessing safety stock need, customer requirements and establishing a market-driven inventory strategy
• Utilize inventory management tools to rationalize SKU’s and optimize inventory while meeting Product Availability targets
• Lead Product Life Cycle Management process including new product launches, discontinuations and portfolio optimization
• Contributes toward the annual budget and operating plan development process by leveraging ongoing S&OP/IBP demand and supply plans and underlying casual assumptions.
• Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.
• Protect Chamberlain Group’s reputation by keeping information confidential.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
• Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.
• Motivate and lead a high performance team by attracting, developing, engaging and retaining team members
• Drive the performance management and compensation processes by communicating job expectations, monitoring and evaluating performance, providing feedback and facilitating employee development per the company’s policies
• Maintain transparent communication by appropriately communicating organization information to team through department meetings, one-on-one meetings, appropriate email, IM and regular interpersonal communications
• Lead and motivate individuals and teams to create a workplace culture that is consistent with the Chamberlain Group mission, vision and values.
Minimum Qualifications
Education/Certifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering or IT
Experience:
• 5+ years of supply chain and people management
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• SAP or similar planning software
Other:
• Able to travel up to 15% - domestically and internationally
Preferred Qualifications
Education/Certifications:
• Masters in Business Administration
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• APICS CPIM / CIRM, CSCP, Lean / Six Sigma, and/or PMP certifications; managing S&OP / IBP processes
