Overview

The Manager, Business Program Management is responsible for supporting the execution of J. Jill’s high priority business and cross functional strategic initiatives. This role partners closely with leadership to coordinate enterprise programs, align priorities, manage dependencies, and provide visibility into execution risks and opportunities.

This position plays a key role in supporting execution by connecting strategic objectives to operational delivery for the Business, in partnership with IT. Role requires strong leadership, collaboration, and program management capabilities with the ability to influence teams across all levels of the organization while maintaining  a practical business-focused approach to execution.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage cross-functional strategic initiatives from intake and planning through execution
  • Facilitate cross-functional communication and alignment to ensure initiative objectives, priorities and deliverables remain coordinated across teams
  • Partner with business/functional leaders to establish objectives, milestones, dependencies and success/financial measurements
  • Support initiative prioritization and governance processes by coordinating initiative sequencing, dependencies, and execution tracking
  • Provide executive-level status updates and visibility into initiative progress, risks, dependencies and key milestones
  • Identify risks, escalate issues and recommend mitigation strategies
  • Utilize program management tools and templates to support day-to-day and reporting requirements 
  • Partner with VP to prepare Executive level reviews and materials
  • Partner closely with IT Program Management and business teams to coordinate execution across enterprise initiatives
  • Support development, validation, and tracking of financial and operational business cases
