Full Job Description
Job Summary:

The Business Operations Manager will provide support to the North Carolina CAPS departments by supporting program onboarding, revenue and metric tracking, capacity modelling, financial forecasting, and ensuring adherence to departmental budget. The Business Operations Manager and their team will work closely with departmental leadership in preparation of annual budget and mid-term plan and coordinate with other departments as needed to support NC PD, AD and AFS teams (i.e. Finance, PMO, Business Development).

Primary Job Responsibilities:
  • Leads coordination of contractual and financial execution of projects, including proposals, change orders, revenue recognition, capacity utilization, and monthly budget review
  • Lead and execute special cross-group/functional projects, partnering across groups to ensure stakeholder alignment, remove barriers and deliver results
  • Oversees business development new business forecasting, capacity planning, program on-boarding, and deliverable delivery
  • Owns departmental performance re reporting by establishing, maintaining and publishing key metrics
  • Oversees development of annual budget and MTP, partnering with finance and senior leadership to align on priorities


Minimum Requirements:

Minimum requirement BS/BA degree and 8-12 years of relevant experience years of experience; MBA and/or PMP preferred.

At least 1 year of prior management or team lead experience preferred

Interpersonal soft skills and ability to work well with a diverse group of contributors.

Business acumen & long-term planning viewpoint, ability to problem solve and set priorities.

Demonstrated experience in project management, coordination of cross-functional teams.

High integrity and personal responsibility, action oriented.

Excellent written & oral communication and presentation skills.

Knowledge of biologics industry is preferred but not required.
