RELOCATION ASSISTANCE: Relocation assistance may be available CLEARANCE REQUIRED FOR START: No CLEARANCE TYPE: Secret TRAVEL: Yes, 25% of the Time Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Manager Business Management 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Strategic C3 Systems Operating Unit Business Management organization. This leadership role is located in Melbourne, FL. and is an onsite position. This is a demanding role supporting diverse types of contracts in a challenging, fast-paced environment. The Business Management Manager be responsible for the integration and oversight of all Business Management efforts including new business pursuits, business acquisition processes, compliance, funding analysis, financial analysis, earned value management analysis, internal audits, and business case scenarios. The Manager is also responsible for working with the Program Office to ensure accurate, time sensitive reporting and briefing to leadership. Specific duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following: - Work with Business as well as Integrated Product Teams on assigned responsibilities, including Internal and external customer interactions, EVMS implementation and analysis, or CAM duties as required; support and guidance to PMs and CAMs; inputs and knowledge of contracts; analysis and review of EACs and variance analysis research and reporting - Focus team on achieving uncompromising quality in all products and services, accountability, meeting financial goals, and team performance - Ensure team fully understands their roles and impact on financial results - Act as the primary interface with the program office, Business Leadership, and Division team for discretionary investments, NCTA, and capital - Support proposal preparation, fact-finding and contract negotiations as needed to ensure business management issues are represented as necessary - Act as primary point of contact with Program Manager counterpart and maintain a positive working relationship to improve communication and stay on top of any potential cost issues Basic Qualifications: - Must have a bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university and 7 years finance/business management work experience or a master's from a accredited university and 3 years finance/business management work experience or a PhD from a accredited university and 3 years finance/business management work experience - Extensive experience in Government Contracting - Experience developing and presenting business strategies, financial information, and risk assessments to leadership teams - Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs Preferred Qualifications: - Experience leading a team, either as a lead, functional manager, or matrix manager - Experience interfacing with government audit agencies such as DCMA and DCAA, as well as Internal Audit - DoD Secret Security Clearance Primary Level Salary Range: $115,000.00 - $172,400.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
