Job Summary

The Manager, Business Leadership supports day-to-day communication and workflow for Superfly agency programs within our gaming and esports portfolio, working with internal teams, clients, vendors, properties and agencies to ensure timely and quality execution of program tasks.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

Project Management & Execution

• Independently lead the day-to-day execution of a key esports global account, exercising judgment regarding priorities, resources, timelines, and client needs.
• Serve as a primary client advisor and point of contact, independently assessing client needs, recommending solutions, resolving issues, and determining appropriate next steps within the scope of engagement.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of clients' business objectives, competitive environment, and the gaming and esports industry. To identify opportunities, anticipate business needs, and make recommendations that influence account strategy and execution.
• Exercise independent judgment in identifying project risks, resolving roadblocks, adjusting priorities, and escalating significant business or scope issues when appropriate.
• Build and maintain organizational documents including project plans, calendars, notes and agendas
• Handle all client communication to solicit client feedback, advance planning and logistics and adhere to scope
• Develop agendas for calls, recap the calls after completion and include all action items in Asana for internal tracking
• Lead both internal and external meetings
• Track all project opens and ensure they are being completed as expected
• Direct and coordinate with cross department teams to ensure all relevant team members are on track with assigned deliverables and that deadlines are met
  • Managing corresponding Asana project boards for deadlines / project milestones
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of client's business, the gaming and esports competitive landscape, and the broader industry

Business & Accounting

• Oversee the financial health of assigned accounts, all client agreements and invoices, escalating to Director and Business Affairs team as needed
• Exercise judgment in identifying potential scope, fee, resource, or contractual issues and determine when escalation to the Director, and VP of Business Leadership
• Ensure invoice requests for payment are submitted by Superfly (AR)
• Ensure invoices are processed for payment through Superfly (AP)

What We Require

• 4-6 years of marketing and/or agency experience
• A genuine, demonstrable passion for esports and PC gaming - as a player, viewer, community member or all of the above
• Experience working on branded events and experiential marketing; experience in gaming, esports or entertainment is a plus
• Superior communication skills (written and verbal)
• Well-developed time management, organizational and follow-through skills
• Strong ability to collaborate, work successfully in a team, and in partnership with other teams
• Confident speaking up and sharing opinions with the team
• College degree

When determining compensation, several unique factors come into play. Currently, a fair salary range estimate is $70,000-$95,000. Compensation decisions are influenced by factors such as experience, training, skill set, business needs, and travel requirements.

Preference will be given to candidates based in New York. Applicants from California will also be considered.
