Job Description:

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR

Momentum is looking for an Account Manager to join our Festivals team, supporting a financial services client. The ideal candidate is passionate about music, experienced in activation, extremely well-organized, a strong communicator and excels at building relationships. Your leadership and attention to detail are key elements to providing the highest quality product to our clients - on time, on strategy, and on budget.

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL DO (RESPONSIBILITIES)
  • Assist in the development and activation of strategic experiential programs, with a specific focus on festivals
  • Communicate with clients, inter-agency teams and external partners, building rapport by acting as the day-to-day contact and troubleshooting any conflicts that may arise
  • Brainstorm in real-time with clients and partners during working sessions or as solutions are required
  • Guide internal teams on assigned workstreams, providing category expertise and ensuring that brand strategy and objectives are being met
  • Create and deliver partner proposals and client presentations
  • Oversee internal financial processes and budgets
  • Manage and mentor direct report(s), fostering an environment of mutual respect and partnership with on-going performance feedback and development conversations
  • Lead elements of on-site activations, including items such as on-site staffing, programming and customer communications
  • Travel and work extended hours both leading up to an event and on-site, which will include some weekends and potentially some holidays
  • Gain exposure to other verticals and widen skillset via project volunteer opportunities during festival offseason
  • Set priorities, demonstrate proactivity, and assume a leadership role for assigned work
  • Understand tight deadlines and maintain composure in all scenarios

HERE'S WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR (QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS)
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 5+ years of relevant marketing experience (some agency experience preferred)
  • Passionate about festival culture, emerging trends and music
  • Experience managing/training junior team members
  • History of on-site activation with a working understanding of production
  • Confident building and managing budgets
  • Organized with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
  • Able to work across multiple platforms and channels with a keen attention to detail
  • Able to self-identify projects/tasks and see them through to execution
  • Collaborative, enthusiastic, resourceful and solution-oriented
  • Polished, professional demeanor
  • A quick learner who plays well with others, of all kinds


The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $90,000. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; market considerations; location and region; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee's/applicant's background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.

Omnicom's policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager. Our objective is to increase this requirement over time, and many of our agencies as well as Omnicom's corporate group already require five days of in-office attendance.
