BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: This position is located in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO), Office of Budget and Planning (OBP), Budget System Operations Division. The incumbent is responsible for collaborating with OBP's Capital Division to ensure the successful development of the Capital module in the Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) budget module and any related systems in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). Duties include, but are not limited to: ensuring the EPM Capital budget systems accurately captures all Capital budget and expenditure transactions; providing assistance with the upgrades, enhancements, bug fixes, and modifications to the system based upon the business needs of the customers; coordinating the development of cross-functional solutions to system-related issues affecting the District's business budget processes; and overseeing a team of analysts responsible for performing analysis, maintenance, and daily functional support of all Capital budget modules. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
Seven (7) years of progressive experience performing related duties and responsibilities such as overseeing the development and implementation of budgetary systems within a large-scale organization; providing expertise in capital budget systems, laws, regulations, and policies; and managing cross-functional collaboration to ensure budget accuracy and compliance. Incumbent must have at least two (2) years of work experience supervising lower-level staff.

Specialized Experience

Experience that provides the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression for this position.
