Position Summary:

The Manager, Benefits - North America is responsible for ensuring that the CDK's health & welfare and retirement benefits plans are market-competitive, engaging, efficient, and compliant with applicable government regulations. The ideal candidate possesses excellent project management, communication, and organizational skills to lead programs and people, as well as evaluate current and proposed protocols. This role collaborates extensively internally and leads external vendor and broker relationships to ensure strong partnership, employee engagement, top quality & efficient service delivery.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage administration of self-funded health & welfare and 401k retirement benefit plans, and ancillary perk programs for U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico
  • Manage vendor partner relationships, vendor contracts, compliance requirements and invoicing
  • Emphasis on 401k retirement plan compliance activities, reporting, documents, filings, and audit processes.
  • Analyze benchmarking information, internal data, and strategize with vendors and leadership on benefit offerings to deliver market competitive, innovative and cost efficient programs that engage and attract talent.
  • Lead benefits projects including U.S. benefits annual enrollment, annual 401k audit, and other benefits compliance activities including discrimination testing, ACA, plan document and SPD updates, 5500s and more.
  • Lead implementations of new plans, vendors, processes, and systems as needed.
  • Work on special projects as required, including, but not limited to, acquisitions, benefit program additions or changes, etc.
  • Collaborate regularly with Payroll, Finance/Accounting, HR Operations, HR Technology and external providers to ensure accurate and efficient administration and processes.
  • Resolve escalated issues, concerns, appeals, and claims with external help from vendors/partners in partnership with the Benefits team
  • Develop and deliver training for teammates, managers, and HR partners on benefits programs, best practices, and related processes and procedures.
  • Identify and implement process improvements across the team that increase efficiency, drive a better employee experience & engagement.
  • Lead and develop 2 internal reports including performance management, coaching, and career development.
  • Maintain current knowledge of global benefits compliance and regulations, in partnership with external resources, and stay apprised of upcoming changes.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Complies with all policies and standards


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related discipline
  • 7+ years progressive health & welfare benefits and 401k plan benefits experience in fast-paced, growth organizations. Of this must include:
    • 3+ years managing mid-size or larger self-funded health and 401k plans
    • 2+ years supervisory and/or people management
    • 1+ years Canada Benefits experience
  • Workday experience
  • Proficient in Excel including formulas and data analysis, MSOffice
  • Experience presenting in MS Office Teams
  • Project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects from conception to completion.
  • Strong vendor management skills: demonstrated experience fully leveraging vendors and holding them accountable
  • A diplomatic relationship builder with a demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams and influence outcomes.
  • Detail-oriented and proficient in data analysis for root cause analysis, trend analysis, and issue resolution.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and manage a high volume of work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to present to varying levels within an organization and deliver material in a clear and digestible way.
  • CEBS preferred


Compensation: $120,000 - $140,000

CDK Global is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Compensation packages are based on several factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, certifications, and work location.
