Job Description:

We are looking for a Manager, Agency Operations, who will help plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns with both leadership skills and attention to detail. This role will serve as the primary point of day to day contact between our agency and marketing teams and represent the interests of each group to ensure campaigns are delivered and objectives are met. The ideal candidate will be a problem-solver with experience leading creative and client teams through marketing projects.

The Manager, Agency Operations will report to the Sr. Manager, Agency Operations and support our Shoppers Drug Mart brand portfolio.

What you'll do:
  • Be the key liaison between our agency teams and Brand Partners to help drive projects through the organization
  • Create project plans to govern all campaigns/initiatives
  • Identify and manage ongoing risk
  • Iterate and troubleshoot as necessary to deliver the project to success
  • Build schedule, timeline and meeting cadence for dedicated project team
  • Establish key project milestones to ensure project delivery, including major stakeholder check-ins
  • Manage stakeholder reviews and approvals throughout the lifecycle of the project
  • Hold team members accountable to deliver their obligations as outlined in the plan
  • Establish status meeting approach and guidance for participation
  • Prepare and circulate consolidated meeting documentation in advance of meeting
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including creative, production, and Agency Operations to ensure seamless project execution
  • Work with broader Agency Operations team to review and mitigate for any issues related to agency fees and production costs for their portfolio
  • Manage and review executional briefs, traffic sheets, and other documentation to ensure the successful delivery of integrated campaigns
  • Support resource management with financial reporting though cross referencing monthly reports and annual forecasting
  • Input to process optimizations
  • lead post campaign learning (e.g. post mortem), working with cross functional teams


What you'll need:
  • 3+ years of relevant, with a proven track record of successfully leading, managing, and delivering complex projects
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide cross-functional teams
  • PMP, CAPM, PMI-ACP or CSM designations considered an asset
  • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Proficiency in project management tools and MS Suite
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • In-depth knowledge of production workflows, industry trends, and emerging technologies
  • Business acumen and a customer-focused approach
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
