Manager, Ad Tech Partnerships & Business Development - New York

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Role

The Manager - Ad Tech Solution Sales role will focus on inbound and outbound platform licensing, support, consulting, and training sales opportunities. They will also play a significant role in Dandelion's vendor relationship building and maintenance, seeking out opportunities for deeper collaboration. Ideally suited for an outcomes-focused individual, the Manager, Ad Tech Solution Sales role will work to uncover opportunities through prospecting, networking efforts, and vendor collaboration. This role will sit within the Sales & Client Success team, reporting directly to the Vice President, Sales & Client Success. This is a full-time position that could require some travel and flexible hours as required.

Responsibilities
  • Builds, maintains, and deepens strategic relationships with key ad tech vendors and platforms (e.g., Google) to enable lead-sharing and co-selling opportunities
  • Attends industry-related networking events with a focus on learning, and creating new sales opportunities both inside and outside of normal business hours
  • Generates new sales opportunities through active prospecting, networking, relationship nurturing, vendor engagement/partnership
  • Contributes to regular QBRs (Quarterly Business Reviews) and joint business planning sessions with key vendor stakeholders to align on strategic growth initiatives
  • Ownership of the end-to-end sales cycle, from prospecting and qualifying leads to negotiating and closing enterprise-level ad tech, project, and training opportunities
  • Partners with the internal Client Success Team to execute seamless onboarding and campaigns for closed deals, providing strategic recommendations on optimal Dandelion platforms and service tiers.
  • Works closely with the Vice President, Sales & Client Success to develop and refine sales prospecting processes
  • Meet and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets by identifying new business opportunities
  • Creates and delivers customized presentations to senior decision makers, utilizing the support of in-house platform and subject matter experts
  • Builds solutions to fulfill select RFP's, SOW's, and POC's in collaboration with internal cross-functional teams
  • Additional tasks and duties as required


Qualifications
  • 6+ years experience in sales, with a focus in technical selling, and SAAS. Experience in ad tech platform sales and services is an asset.
  • Experienced in sales with North American prospects
  • Sound understanding of the digital landscape with emphasis on DSP knowledge and the role that various advertising platforms play
  • Proven record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Exceptional ability to learn, create, adapt, and test new ideas, sales packages, and strategies
  • Experience navigating complex partner ecosystems (e.g., Google Partner Program, major DSPs/SSPs) an asset
