Position SummaryThis position on the Network Analytics team provides the financial analytics to support network strategy for Aetna's largest national health system provider partners.
This role is responsible for:
- Supporting the National Health Systems organization by developing and delivering actuarial and analytic insights that inform strategic contracting goals and priorities
- Preparing analyses and materials used in meetings with national provider partners, and presenting findings in select forums as appropriate
- Partnering with Network, MEU, and Commercial Actuarial teams to support contracting strategy, pricing decisions, and provider performance evaluation
The role builds strong cross-functional partnerships, deepens understanding of market dynamics, and contributes to pricing and contracting support across national provider relationships.
Required QualificationsBachelors Degree along with 3+ years of actuarial and/or analytical experience with strong technical, analytical, and financial skills.
Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA), or demonstrated progress toward actuarial credentials.
Preferred QualificationsExcellent written and verbal communication skills.
Programming (SQL, SAS, Python, R) experience.
Provide superior customer service to both internal and external constituents.
Thrive in a constantly evolving environment with competing priorities and deadlines.
Problem solving skills are critical as many of the concepts are new or in development.
Ability to generate new ideas, think strategically, and creatively solve problems that are not well defined.
Pursuing Associate or Fellow of the Society of Actuaries designation
EducationBachelor's degree required.

Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:
$92,700.00 - $203,940.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
