JOB SUMMARY: Develop, lead and maintain the company's management systems, standards and procedures (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001). Work with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize areas of improvement, development and corrective/preventative actions, and monitor performance to ensure ongoing compliance and effectiveness. Manage OEM customers and expectations for quality requirements. Manage internal and external quality issues with regards to OEM requirements. Manage environmental requests from customers and Thule products.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Develop and maintain the company's management systems, ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
  2. Organize, manage and conduct regular internal audits to monitor the performance of the management systems and identify areas of improvement; follow up on corrective actions
  3. Host external audits (compliance, customer, registrar)
  4. Maintain the manuals, procedures, and documents; ensure contents are appropriate for the business
  5. Collaborate with core function teams to continuously identify, improve and prioritize the management systems and drive organization efficiency
  6. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions in response to customer compliants and nonconformances
  7. Provide training and support to employees on the management systems and control processes
  8. Conduct layered process audits with levels of management of finished goods and report results.
  9. Lead person coordinating daily Quality activities for OEM customers.
  10. Document and analyze returned OEM product and drive quality/design improvements.
  11. Prepare PPAP and International Material Data System documentation for OEM customers
  12. Contribute and attend OEM project meetings
  13. Attend production meetings and report on OEM quality concerns and issues.
  14. Facilitator of FMEA's, Risk Analysis and Core Quality tools.
  15. Support any environmental requests, customer surveys or other requests from customers
  16. Train and assist Quality Associates in assigned job functions
  17. Other functions as required and assigned by supervisor.

RECOMMENDED POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, with 5-7 years of experience minimum
  2. Certification in ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001
  3. 5 years of auditing experience and certifications
  4. In depth knowledge of management standards and development / implementation of standards, ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001.
  5. Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills
  6. Excellent PPAP knowledge and submissions
  7. Excellent communication and strong leadership skills
  8. Experience with OEMs and portals a plus
  9. Good understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and IMDS principles
  10. Computer literate in MS Office (Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint). Knowledge of M3 system is a plus.
  11. Self motivated, action oriented individual
  12. Ability to work independently and as part of team
  13. Proven skills of multitasking and decision making.
  14. Good oral and written communication skills
